Tran Nguyen Phuong Lam focuses on banking, finance, and regulatory compliance, with practical experience across Vietnam’s financial-leasing and enforcement sectors.

Before joining Vilasia, Lam served in the Legal & Compliance Department of Chailease International Leasing, advising on regulatory filings with the State Bank of Vietnam, and ensuring compliance with AML, FATCA, and anti-bribery (ABAC) frameworks. She supported the company’s operations in financing, leasing, and distribution, including contract review, internal-policy drafting, and litigation coordination.

Earlier, Lam spent two years with the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, assisting enforcement officers in case execution and asset recovery, giving her first-hand insight into Vietnam’s judicial and enforcement processes.

Lam holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Business Administration from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, both with Excellent distinction. She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Xi’an Jiaotong University under the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC). Lam is fluent in Mandarin Chinese (HSK6) and English.
